Spearfishing can be challenging at all
levels. Getting started is easyas it requires a minimal amount of
equipment and can be enjoyed on any of the Long Island coasts.
What you will learn
Over
the course of three information filled hours you will learn hunter
safety, fishing regulations, equipment selection, fish identification,
conservation practices, fish and shellfish cleaning and preparation
as well as recipes. You will become a true underwater hunter able
to reap the bounty of the sea and it's shoreline

If you do not own any spearfishing gear you might want to wait until
you take the course as you will be fully trained in gear selection.
